Complete shifting from a
place is not an easy task, as it requires to make many types of arrangements
including, van and man hire plus
packing all the items of the place, whether it be a commercial or residential
moving. Yes, it’s very exciting to move to a new place, but things can go wrong
if the proper arrangement is not done for
the movement. No matter whatever be your reason to relocate, always make
sure you may not repeat these mistakes. Check out the list to support your
decision:
Mistake No.1: Giving your
old home to, someone to live.
It is always a good
source of revenue to collect the rent from the old
house, but people don’t maintain the old house well. It means old house needs proper
maintenance service from time to time. If you are renting your previous house,
it doesn’t mean you are free from all the maintenance duty of the house. If you
are not able to manage the house remotely, ask the tenants to take care of the
house.
Mistake No.2: Selling
your house in a hurry
This means if your house
is located at the center of the city. Obviously, the value of your property
will rise with time. So, in that case, you can give your place to rent to get proper
revenue and when you find you are getting the best price of your house, sell it
at that time. Don’t sell out the property in hurry to anyone.
Mistake No.3: Keeping stuff
with the plan to shift it on some other day
If in case your relocation is permanent, it is best
to take all your belongings with you at the time
of shifting, making delay in shifting your belongings after a month or maybe
years may put you in the loss.
Mistake No.4: Expecting your belongings to reach at
a new place on time
Even if, you packed everything on time and send it
off straight away, don’t give deadline, so close to the house
moving companies that when you reach to your new location, your belongings should
also reach the destination on the same time because this is nearly impossible. It may take a week’s
time for all your belongings to arrive at your new place, due to weather or
road shutdowns.
Mistake No.5: Not checked admission status in school
at a new place
Many people relocate to a new location without
checking out the admission status of school at the new place, even if there are
school going children in the family. So, always check your neighborhood for a
great school option prior to relocation.
Mistake No.6: Never try
to make your new home, like your last one
People like to give the
same look and feel of an old
house to a new place. This attempt puts them in a stress if they fail to do so.
So, it’s always best to give a look according to the place and requirement.
